First Light
Medium Roast | Nicaragua La Bastilla Honey | Ethiopia Natural
Overview
At first light, the horizon ignites. The air is still, sharp, and charged with possibility.
First Light is crafted for those who move before the world does — the hunters, the early risers, the relentless. It’s the coffee of the edge, the one you brew when the world is quiet but your purpose is loud.
Forged in the honeyed depth of Nicaragua’s La Bastilla, with just enough wild fruit lifted in by Ethiopia — this medium roast wakes you with sweetness and clarity, not sharp edges.
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Warm cocoa, honeycomb, and subtle florals
Flavor: Smooth chocolate and pecan up front, rounded by dried date and honey. Mid-cup reveals gentle plum and whispers of tropical fruit, with a finish of clean black tea and hibiscus.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, gently rounded; a sweetness that envelopes without heaviness, with a lifting acidity that refreshes.
Finish: Clean, crisp, and lingering — honeyed chocolate with a light fruit echo.
Every cup carries the stillness of dawn and the spark of what comes after.

Why We Made This
First Light is a salute to the ones who rise early. The ones who know the quiet of the world before it wakes. The ones chasing game, chasing the grind, or chasing something bigger than themselves.
It’s smooth enough for your daily ritual, complex enough to make you slow down and notice the cup in your hand, and bold enough to fuel the next step.

-
Espresso: Smooth, sweet, and slightly jammy with a lingering cocoa finish — makes a killer morning shot.
I am a hardcore fan of both War and Conquest, so had to try their newest medium roast and damn it's good!!! Love the hint of sweetness and smooth flavor. This is one that is now in our roast rotation and will be in our cart for our next order!!
